This great looking family took advantage of everyone being together for the Thanksgiving holiday to get some family portraits taken. What a fun bunch! We've known the family for years, and it is amazing to see how much the kids have changed. The boys are young men now, and little Mary is not so little, as you can see.

Onslaught of the Iron Brides
Wow. All I can say is wow. The Iron Brides Express rolled into town, and transformed the studio into a set. What is Iron Brides, you ask? A game show/reality show being filmed right here in New Hampshire, of course! Studio Mark Emile has decided to be a season sponsor of the program, which we expect to be a real kick.
Here is a small taste of what we got from today's session:
The contestants.
The girls trying to make an impression on Santa.
Our hosts, Jill and Brian.
Fourteen year old Amelia, who sings the Iron Brides theme song.
Her mom, Jodie, and Bill, who wrote the theme song and who plays it.
We have so much more than we can possibly blog. It's been quite a day.

Shoot the barber!
At least, I think that was Eric's thought. He was so upset with his haircut we couldn't wheedle, cajole, or even bribe him to take his hat off. So we left it on and the session went on regardless. Years down the road they will laugh their butts off (even Eric) when they see these pictures, I am sure.
This was a fun session, with people from all over. It was hard picking some for the blog as we had so many good ones. These have not yet been retouched, but to be honest there is not much to do to them.

Can you feel the heat?
As part of the Great American Downtown Ladies Night promotion, Studio Mark Emile is giving invitations to a Boudoir Portrait Party to be held at the studio in early December. What sort of images are created at a boudoir portrait session? Just the sorts of images your man would be only too happy to receive. Maybe we should show you. After all, a picture is worth 1000 words.
Suggestive
Glamorous
Sensual
Playful
And, yes, sexy.
It's all very tastefully done, with an aim to be provocative and yet classy. Plus the sessions are a whole lot of fun. Studio Mark Emile thanks our models for allowing us to blog some of shots so we can share the nature of the sessions without identifying the participants. Ladies, come to the studio on Thursday for your own Boudoir Portrait Party invitation!

Salute to the Veterans
Today, (well, yesterday, actually) there was a little parade outside the studio for Veterans Day. I think we all owe our veterans a debt of gratitude for the sacrifices they have made and continue to make on our behalf, so the rest of us can be free. It is a special calling to serve one's country, and we at Studio Mark Emile are truly grateful. A few quick images from today's parade.

Adding to the pile
Butch's networking group came to the studio tonight, and Cathy was one of the throng. She asked if I would photograph her to add to the ARN images. Of course! Here's her shot- a quickie, done while getting ready for the rest of the group to show up.
Cathy is an interior designer, and owns her own business called Cathy Kert Interiors. She does great work! If you need to update your home, stage your home to sell, or decorate a business, she is a great resource.
