Kat and Nik

Momma wants a new pocket book, so we got the girls into the studio. With Kat being off at university, it's harder and harder to get them both together, so we took advantage of spring break to get them into the studio. See, girls? That didn't hurt a bit!

Kevin and Nathan, take two

You might remember Kevin and Nathan from last year. They came in over the weekend for an update- they are both growing so fast! This time mom and dad joined in, so we could get some family shots as well as Nathan's 5 year old portrait and Kevin's 2 year old portrait. What a lively bunch these boys are! Very nice people.

Here are a few shots from the session:

Calling Class of 2010 Seniors!

Studio Mark Emile is now accepting applications for senior spokesmodels from the class of 2010!

Q) What's it all about?

A) The Senior Spokesmodel program at Studio Mark Emile is a program where seniors agree to show off their senior portraits to their friends and acquaintances and earn studio credit, prizes, even cash!

Q) Ok, I'm intrigued. What's in it for me?

A) You will get a full studio session now, a full outdoor/location session as soon as the weather cooperates, and a mini session later in the summer. From these first two sessions, you will receive a lovely 24 image 5x7 portfolio which you will use to show off your fully retouched images to your friends. You will also receive a personalized set of bookmarks which you can give out to your friends which they can use to receive a discount on their senior portraits. When they redeem their bookmarks for their discount, that's when you earn rewards! For example, after 2 completed referral sessions, you get to keep the 24 image portfolio, a $795 value. You can even earn an iPod Nano, and be entered into a drawing for the cash grand prize!

Q) Ok, what comes out of my pocket?

A) Well, as a spokesmodel, you don't pay a session fee. You do agree to a $200 commitment towards your senior portraits, payable at the time of your first session. After that it depends on what you want and how much studio credit you earn. This is a great opportunity to get awesome senior portraits from Nashua's hottest new portrait studio featuring 2008 Professional Photographers of America "Photographer of the Year", Mark Levesque, and save money at the same time.

This is limited to only a few selected students from each of the local high schools- if you want to be considered you need to contact the studio ASAP by calling (603) 886-0957 and asking for an application. If we are on location or in a session just leave a message with your name, school, and phone number and we will get back to you promptly, or you can reply to this post. Don't miss this opportunity!

NEW: click here for our downloadable application. This is a pdf form that you can fill out on the computer and email back to us. If your Adobe Acrobat Reader is out of date and does not support this, you can download the latest version here.

Along comes Mary

Introducing the next Studio Mark Emile spokesmodel, Mary! Mary comes to us from Alvirne High School, and she was a blast to work with in the studio. She brought a ton of clothes with her and props! Cool! She even brought a friend, which is no problem at Studio Mark Emile. More than senior portraits, it's an experience.

If you are interested in joining the growing ranks of the Studio Mark Emile Senior Spokesmodels, contact the studio! We are accepting applications now!

And now for the pictures:

Pinup Stylin'

We are constantly seeking to learn new techniques and expand our visual vocabulary at Studio Mark Emile, and sometimes that leads to opportunities to study with special photographers from other parts of the country. That was the case this weekend when we studied with pinup master Robert Alvarado, and his "favorite model" Kimmie. We spent the morning photographing Kimmie, and the afternoon learning Robert's secret processing techniques. We am thrilled to be able to create this style of images, and look to incorporate the processing techniques in other parts of our portraiture.

Heeeeeeeeere's Macy!

To start off senior season, we introduce our first Senior Spokesmodel, Macy. Macy, a junior at Nashua South, was a treat to photograph. She braved the elements for a bit to get some outside pictures, which was extra fun with today's snowstorm. Then we came into the studio for some more comfortable photographing. Here are a few shots from the very successful session.

Studio Mark Emile is now accepting applications for Senior Spokesmodels for the class of 2010. We are limiting participation to 2 or 3 students from each of the local high schools, so it is important not to delay if you are interested. For additional information, check out http://www.studiomarkemile.com/spokesmodels.shtml

Ok, let's get to the images!
